Coswheel GT20 Max

After 1 week and about 500 km I have to say it is a great machine.

Assembly instructions - find an video on youtube and it should be fine for you. Only according the paper instructions....good luck :-).

The seat - I was driving every day about 70 km. First 3 days it was a little bit painfull, but now my butt is addapted and it is OK. It is like with a new shoes :-).

Power - it is realy fast and powerfull, dont underestimate the performance of this machine. I would recomend it only for adult people becasue of the weight and speed. At full power of the electro motor you can hear a kind of metal noise. It is not damaged, it is just the 1,5 kW power. I see it positiv, the people have at least a small chance to react on you, when your are coming from behind and they dont see you.

Breaks - super

Blinkers - cute but small. My recomendation - use your hands, the car drivers overseeing these blinkers aspecialy an sunny days.

Design - very good job from my point of view. I have only positive feedbacks until now.

Range - with full charged batteries a have still 60% baterry left after driving of 70 km in full electric mode on standard roads like on the picture wtih speed mainly 35km/h, some short distances with 50km/h. Down hill recuperation hepls a lot. These 70km are consuming about 1,2 kWh.

Customer support - fantastic :-). Quick and kind responses on my 1000 questions and requests.

Important hint - for EU is it comming in pedal mode with support from electric motor to max 25 km/h. So you can drive it everywhere with no problems and no restrictions. But if you switch the computer to full electric mode, be aware your local laws. Probably you have to register the machine and use e.q. certificated helmets etc. Or if you driving 50km/h you can pray to not meet the police :-).

Let me start with the most important point:
This E-bike is an eye-catcher - and I mean that in both the most positive and the most negative way.
So, be aware of your local laws. 😉

Some smaller negative points:

The thumb throttle - there is a version with a half throttle, which is about 100× better for controlling speed more smoothly.

The seat could be a little more comfortable, but it’s still fine to ride.

The instructions are for a different version of this E-bike (one with a quick-release wheel and a different board computer). If you’ve never assembled a bike before, just keep that in mind. It’s not difficult, but it might cause confusion.

The board computer settings could be more detailed. Not a huge deal, but I’m used to more options.

Things to keep in mind:

It’s fast. On my short on/off-road test ride, I reached up to 75 km/h - which is equivalent to very dangerous. You can limit the max speed for your first rides, and I’d recommend doing so.

It’s heavy. I mean really heavy - over 60 kg. The main battery can be removed if you need to carry it upstairs (but even the battery itself is pretty heavy).

Build quality is fine for the price. Don’t expect premium components for everything (I’m talking about blinkers, speed control, and smaller parts), but the important components are very solid and well-built.

Only one color available. I’m personally not a fan of yellow, but on this bike? It actually looks awesome - way better than I imagined.

Things I like/love about this bike:

The power - this thing can easily shred through rough terrain.

The suspension - surprisingly good for this price, feels really nice.

The speed - no matter how you look at it, being able to hit such high speeds means you’ll never be left behind.

Complete features - you get everything you need. Integrated blinkers are a big deal for me, and I looked for a long time to find them. You can still replace them if they break.

Range - awesome. I didn’t even fully charge it, and my first trip was about 30–40 km. I still had over 80% battery left. To be fair, I rode mostly at around 30 km/h, but that shows the range isn’t exaggerated.

The brakes - really solid stopping power.

Customer service - fast, responsive, and genuinely helpful.

This is a great Ebike that provides an almost motorcycle like experience when riding. It has pedal assistance and great stability. The motor can be set from 1-5 pass mode coupled with a 7 speed shifter and oil filled brakes that stop quickly. It was fairly easy to assemble but it's best to have two people as it makes the job much much easier than trying to do it on your own. The headlight is bright and it's working taillight and directional signals are a nice added feature! The power is good, especially on hills too. The value you get is well worth the money in my opinion. Go for it! You won't be disappointed!
